Conference Summary

The Republic of Ireland’s PV market is expected to reach 1-2GW by 2020. With nearly 4GW of grid applications already in and a competitive market support mechanism expected in early 2017, developers anticipate the construction phase to start from mid-2017 onwards and are making preparations now. With proven results helping international and UK solar supply chains connect, Solar Media’s Solar PV Ireland will enable the Irish market to develop with professionalism, speed and inclusivity.

This two day event brings together high level decision makers from the Department of Communication Energy and Natural Resources, the Commission for Energy Regulation, ESB Networks, EirGrid and developers, installers and financiers to provide updates, incite discussion and release bottlenecks to accelerate sustainable deployment of solar PV across the Republic of Ireland.
