Leader, Green Party
Eamon Ryan is the Leader of the Green Party, Dail member since 2002 and former minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources.
He has spent the last twenty years working at the highest policy level in local government, the Dáil, and in the European Council of Ministers.
Eamon chairs the Digital and Energy Policy Groups for the Institute of International and European Affairs in Dublin.
He has also worked on www.climategathering.org to establish a safe space to consider how to communicate the issue of Climate Change.
Eamon currently represents the constituency of Dublin Bay South, covering areas of the city such as Dublin 2, Dublin 4, Dublin 6 and parts of Dublin 6W . He had previously served as Dáil TD for Dublin South from 2002 to 2011 and was Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources from 2007 to 2011.
Eamon currently sits on the Government Joint Committee on Communications, Climate Action and Environment.
